Bodega/Dillon sensor question

Post by Bulldog » Wed Mar 14, 2007 2:37 pm

Okay North Bay coastal kiters, here's one for you:

Today the sensor for Bodega is pushing 20 and above since noon, but the Tomales sensor is low teens.

Which sensor is the best gauge of wind at Dillon? Most of the times I've kited there, the reading is almost the same between the two, so I've never even thought about it before. But Ikite shows the Tomales sensor further down in the bay, so I'm wondering if the Bodega one is a more accurate read on what is happening at Dillon.

I hate driving 1 1/2 hrs. to get skunked.

It says 10M, but it's really a 9.

I believe Tomales usually reads 3-4 more than actual.
