Quit my job: Have a week off, where should I go kite?

Post by busski » Mon Oct 02, 2006 9:34 am

Hi,

Just quit my job and have a week off before my dream job starts (covering K2, Columbia, Mountain hardware etc for an investment bank).

Where should I go to get some good kiting this time of year? Any and all suggestions welcome.

Thanks,

Christian

If you can handle the long flight, Brazil is NUMBER 1, hands down!

South Padre or Hatteras?

Considerably less travel time than other places and it's still warm there.
It's also off-season so accomodations will be inexpensive.

I got to agree, South TX has some great spots, very close, cheep and while it's not Brasil, it is all of the above.

It's amazeing how many places there are to ride ... Flat, Waves, ect.

Have a great time...

hatteras.

friends just got back said they had 3 days of fun hurricane surf and 4.5 days of good wind.

warm water, easy to get to. places to stay where you can see flatwater and waves at the same time for not a lot of bucks.

sounds good to me.
