Hi,
I'm looking to find this small piece of equipment that the guy I took lessons from had. It's by naish and it's called "da Tickler". I bought a used kite and bar and their is no chicken bone in the loop because of the style that the old owner rode, but I'd prefer to have something to help keep me hooked in. I'd appreciate any advice and also if any of you have a quick review of this oddly named little doo-hickey. Does it work? Does it actually tickle? Thanks in advance for the help.

PS, I've already looked on the Naish site and it is not searchable so I couldn't find it. Also, after googling the tickler, you can imagine the cool sites I found. But the only place I found the Naish tickler was a place from the UK and the cost of the tickler didn't warrant the shipping. Is there a way to make a homemade one?

You can cut a fixed harness loop in half and trim to the right size or
Heavy duty plastic zip ties or
Some rope and plastic tubing (I did this, parts were about $0.50 at a hardware store). I tied this complicated series of knots to attach it to my spreader bar, but after I cut it off and wanted to reattach with less rope to work with, Charlie tied a simple bowline knot and it worked fine.

If you aren't the handy type or don't have a fixed loop available, Naish dealers usually have them.
ASD sells Naish so you might try calling them. Also last time I was up in Hood River, Big Winds had them hanging on the wall for $4.95 ea. Give them a call (tickler isn't on their website - www.bigwinds.com)
