Be alert at 3rd Ave Golf Course Parking

I just saw in one of the neighborhood lists that there seems to be an increase in car burglaries in Foster City, particularly close to the Golf Course and Orchard Supply lots. I haven't heard of kiters cars having been burglarized (at least not in the last 3 years), but as we usually have equipment around it's always a good idea to be careful. Please try not to keep your car keys in the usual hiding spots and try to keep equipment oranything of value out of sight.

If you see anything suspicious, please call the FC Police right away: 650-286-3300 is the non-emergency number. They are very responsive to these calls and send a car to check it out.

FC is particularly vulnerable since it's very easy to come to the city and make a quick exit to highway 101 or 92.
