What to do with old gear?

In clearing out my garage this weekend I came across a 2004 12m Cabrinha Nitro. In this day and age I can't even fathom passing it along to someone getting started. What do most of you do with your old / dated gear?

Re: What to do with old gear?
You can:
1) Donate it to your favorite cause.
2) Make spare parts out of the kite, replacement bladders are not that good compared to originals.
3) If you know how to sew, make tool bags out of them.
4) Turn them into square tarps and make quick shelter out of them. Example on my recent adventure paddle board / surfing trip with the missus along highway 1 last week, 5 miles North of Pfeiffer Burns, discovered lots of secret coves with fun waves, perfect mellow 4 foot waves.
PS.
If you are going to throw the kite away, I could use the material. I'm putting together a replacement canopy for my coleman shelter.

Don't rip it up quite yet, EDT on kiteforum may be interested in buying it. There is still a crew of guys that prefer C kites.
