Anyone kiting the Shark Pit on Saturday?

Post by dealbst » Thu Oct 31, 2013 3:28 pm

Hey,

Wind forecast for Dillon looks decent late afternoon for Saturday. I know Sunday looks better but I have to work !$*(

Drop me a line. It would be nice to have some other chum (I mean kiters) in the water besides me.

Maybe Sunday for me

Definitely going to rock it if there is wind. Forecast is looking good. No worries sharktober is over, they all went home for the year.

So far surfline and ikite are in agreement that Sunday has good potential for the coast.

Killer! I think I've rounded up some of the Nor-Cal crew as well. I should be out there around 3.

Hey,

If anyone coming out to Dillon tomorrow has a womens twin-tip that could be borrowed--that would be great. My friend recently had her board stolen. Friggin' Theafsters...

Thanks!

Spring tide the next few days. The conveyer belt in the channel should be working well if you packed your cojones and a radio.

5 ft swell Saturday; 11.5 ft Sunday; strong ebb tide all afternoon both days. Keep an eye on each other out in The Pit.
Have to work Saturday, and Sunday it's forecasted for 20's at the Thermalito Afterbay, a 30 min drive for me vs 2.5 hours to Dillon.

Windstoked,

Thanks for the information. Sorry you can't make it and we'll keep it safe out there.
