FYI- Not that most riders should care.. But I will no longer be giving out or spamming Slingshot services or support. My affiliations with the company is over. Over 6+ year of Slingy knowledge, rider experience and soul just left the building.. :auto-camptrailer:

Thanks! :confusion-helpsos: I would make sure you have Rally scuff guards on all 2011 Rally's, Red bridles on the Link "if you have one", Early Compstick bars are fucked... Make sure to check the CL harness loops "metal can crack under load. IE bad weld point, Butter Box's cracking, loose bar ends and if you do have any older Compstick make sure to get the trim grommet. This will help trimming and prevent any damage to the Butter Box. All 2012 bolt on straps are not properly installed from the factory, so if you feel you need adjustment or don't have adjustment contact the SS crew and they can send you a PDF Bolt-On update. 2012 RPM' bridles are pretty funky too. Check them to see if there stretching? Also check your nipples and overstiching when you buy a new kite.. Most cases the kite blows up the first time its due to this... Give it a good once over before you pump it up and while your pumping make sure you nipples don't invert into the LE! If you have any problems or issues stated above contact Slingshot warranty or your local importer because you don't want safety problems that could ruin a session. I always hate that and so do you!

so how do you tell if you have an "old" compstick? Any tell-tale signs?

is the trim gromet something you make from misc parts or does slingy sell them?

sounds like you should just call up slingshot and ask them to send you the trim grommet. it's clearly a free fix they're offering to prevent a warranty issue for the bar...

I talked to Shy today and his plan is, given the time of year, to enjoy the summer for now, roadtrip to the coast and ride in the gorge. He may even make it down here for the party at Sherman. I think he'll get swooped up by someone though, he's already had an offer or two, he's an absolute asset to any kite company he's with though, so wherever he goes, I'm sure he'll do well. Who knows, I may even follow him if something comes up... fini I've been on SS for a while now and to me, he was the face of Slingshot...always there for me, super positive, supportive and helpful

I wish you well ...but dude you should always tell the truth no matter if it hurts or not , I'm sure slingshot found this in your character in time. I had a witness who saw the incident with your failed kite trick and he ran up to the shack to talk with you as I could not because I had a bloody hand and head ..he did talk to your bro.. who said he did apologized to me and all was cool.

What I did't understand is you denied the incident!!!.. and had me thinking it was some one else ??after which ..I started asking around and made a complete ass out of myself right here on this forum,.. saying it must have been someone else.. plus apologizing to you and the picture you posing as Mr.chill .. that was a slap in the face anyway you look at it.

It was you bro !!..and you knew it all along.. I believe what you did was the same thing your doing to slingshot right here again.. who found out what I already knew. and your actions are now coming back to haunt you .. and all you did was prove to your team and slingshot that you can't be trusted.

To Funny !!!... that was a killer move you almost pulled off and that is all I was going to tell you had you confronted your mishap as I know you did not hit me on purpose..but your choice was to run away and call me a liar ?
