URGENT - Kiteboard found at Point Bonita (Crissy?)

Coast Guard just received a report (Friday, 9:15 am) of a 4-6' yellow kite board with blue stripe spotted floating at Pt. Bonita. They will likely presume someone is missing until proven otherwise. If anyone lost the kite board and made it safely back to shore, please let me know ASAP to save the search effort. I know a kiter was picked up by the red & white ferry yesterday around 5 pm but never heard if he lost his board. The board has not been recovered yet, so don't know if it has a name and number on it. PLEASE mark your gear to prevent unnecessary searches.

If you know that someone is in fact missing on the water, please call the USCG Command Center at (415) 399-3530.

Thank you Peter, I was rescued by the Red & white yesterday around 5 but we notified the coast guard of our every move once on board.

GOOD NEWS. The board was properly marked with name and phone number. The command center was able to contact the owner and verify that he was safely on shore and had lost the board two days ago - case resolved in under an hour. Good move by the kiter to mark his board and as a result, he has the opportunity to get it back.
