not just talking about cab.

I just get annoyed with these type of gear reviews. "more depower", "faster turning" blah, blah, blah.......god forbid if you say something bad about a kite.

If you want the low-down on a cab kite, I'll tell you straight up. Pros AND cons.....This will be from my experience riding them in different conditions not some marketing BS.

Seems like there are more buyers guides in mags than actual good pics and articles of sick riders pushing the sport. Thats why I stopped buying kitemags a while ago.

Yep. 'gear review' issues have become a way for publishers to give advertisers a full mag of ads. No real objective reviews, just the text straight from the marketing department!

Want a review, give me a kite to ride.

seems to me sc-surfer is correct. Don't know the details, but I would guess that brands listed paid to be included, and then designers, reps, and or riders of each brand tell you about their stuff...what do you think they are going to say?

go out a demo/test the stuff for yourself...ask friends or other riders at your local spot what they like (not including the bro deal they got) and what they don't particularly like.

"Sometimes it's better to let the feelings speak. It's what I have learned after the first time I got planing on a 1976 windsurfer.

It is far more important to keep this clear in mind than talk for hours about the latest piece of technological edge we have found to be again ahead of time.

It's not about how you ride, it's about how you feel. Ride and feel, it's all that matters."

~Roberto Ricci
