Forecast for: KSFO (SAN FRANCISCO, CA, US)
Text: KSFO 280316Z 280324 16040G50KT 3SM +RA BR OVC025
Forecast period: 0300 to 0400 UTC 28 February 2006
Forecast type: FROM: standard forecast or significant change
Winds: from the SSE (160 degrees) at 46 MPH (40 knots; 20.8 m/s)
gusting to 57 MPH (50 knots; 26.0 m/s)
Visibility: 3 miles (5 km)
Ceiling: 2500 feet AGL
Clouds: overcast cloud deck at 2500 feet AGL
Weather: +RA BR (heavy rain, mist)
I think this is windier at the sensor, It's gusting over 70 at SFO. I wonder if people can even stand up.
Start nailing stuff down because I think its going to oick up even more in the next hour.
If in doubt, do it.

I was out with you... just way upwind.... Pretty gusty today, but better than yesterday..

This is the type of wind that makes you a great rider.... this and light wind..

Even though it rained pretty hard on me time to time, just like Bill said I just start laughing in rain, I couldn't see anything it was ALL GRAY but somehow it was funny and had a great time. It was lonely tho. I just wished it wasn't raining, water should be warmer, clearner, less gusty, etc. I guess I am asking too much for storm winds....

I agree 100%. After a crappy (better than nothing  ) session like yesterday I feel 2x better once I get some steady wind in the right direction.
