"Who needs Cali????????? " ha ha - ask that question again in August. How long are you in OKY?
Oh how I miss the coast... I was supposed to be here for 3 weeks but the typically unstable Midwest winter weather has made many days bad for flying. Should be coming back home any day now. At least I've been out on the lake here a few times.

Big hole in the Ozone over Australia, a major cause of depletion is (hydrochloroflourocarbons) HCFCs. More UV gets thru the atmosphere there. I was in Tasmania a few years ago in January, and most days the air was super clear and the sun annoyingly bright.

Excessive exposure to UV known to cause skin cancer, (though I think skin cancer is considered one of the more easily treatable types of cancers).

From wikipedia : "The most common types of skin cancer are basal cell carcinoma (BCC) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) which may be locally disfiguring but are unlikely to metastasize (spread to other parts of the body). The most dangerous type of skin cancer is malignant melanoma. This form of skin cancer can be fatal if not treated early but comprises only a small proportion of all skin cancers."

I got some of this sunscreen after reading their info page:
"Safe Shopper Tip:
Chemical-free sunscreens use titanium dioxide and zinc oxide; physical barrier-type sunscreens are also excellent UVA/UVB blockers."

Aubrey Organics : safe sunscreen

Also got this, All Terrain, they make an Aquasport sunscreen: http://www.allterrainco.com/sun_protection.html[url=http://]
