Venezuela - March/April

Looks like:

3/14-22

Leaving March 14 arriving to Miami on the 15th and then hopping a flight to Caracas and then Los Roques (may need to stay in Caracas overnight as the flights to Roques leave in the mornings)

stay until the 22nd looks like.

I'm still working on lodging etc. but the trip will probably be about $1000-$1200 or so for the week NOT including flights to Caracas. (but that will include a nice hotel, food, flight from CCS - Los Roques and back, boat transfers etc.)

There's a chance we may just book flights and get there and book hotels

Everyone, I'm definitely going on this trip-- wouldn't miss it. If you don't know much about Los Roques, check out the latest volume of Stance-- the F-One guys did a movie there. The place looks unbelievably beautiful and a kiters paradise!

BTW, I just checked the windguru archives for Los Roques. There have only been a total of 5 days below 15mph in March in the last three years. I like those odds!

We had wind everyday last year March 5-12... I was on my 7 usually with an occasional 5 (woot) and a 9 day.

Confirmed: Dave, Erin and I. We need 1 more to complete a room, total $1200 including everything (food, lodging, boat transfers to islands, flight from Caracas to Los Roques)

Only thing you need to get is your flight to Caracas...

March 14 - 23. The 22nd we are spending in Caracas to catch our flight early the next morning...

OOoooohhhh that sounds like a killer deal! I wish I could go but I did a LaV trip (jan) and a vail trip (feb) and I am tapped out of $$$ and vacation time. If you are in the know, $1200 is pretty darn good!! Have a blast you guys!
