Scary Bro,

Best wishes for a highly medicated and speedy recovery. Could have been WAY worse. Carpe diem.
Go bigga'

Way to go Zeev!
That was a close one. One of those life-changing, story-telling downstream-generation-legacy type of experiences that benefit all who are listening. In one precious moment, you spared your daughter's life. You skated through a tragic confluence of events, relatively unharmed - to continue your "journey". You are indeed your family's hero! Life happened - real time for all to see. God is good!

Take your meds. Get well soon! See you on the water.

Zeev, What an amazing tale, I am very glad that you and your family are OK. Some times you have to stop and thank your lucky stars.
I wish you a speedy recovery, and Point Emery wont be the same with out you.

I hope to ride with you soon.

My Friend Living the Dream ---

Post by andyandmarlys » Sun Mar 12, 2006 12:45 pm

I have been working with a friend in Bellingham on developing a kite and kayak conncetion for adventure racing and tours.....and just found out that he is going to attempt to break a world record by paddling 144 miles in 24 hours.

I know this isn't kiting, but man, what an attempt.. 6mph average for 24 hours on water? ..without the help of wind?.... Wow...

His attempt is to earn money to donate to a hospice.. Check out his webpage for more info

http://www.kayakforcare.com/

He is looking for lots of help, but even an encouraging email would be good fuel to keep him going...

Andy

WOW that is scarry, hope you get better soon.
I also had a similar experience coming back from Tahoe a few years ago. we were coming down the hill and saw someone stuck in a snowdrift on the outside of a turn, we tryed to turn but it wasn't doing anything, so my dad put it in reverse and burned out until we came to a stop, it was a close one.

Get well and I hope to meet you in person soon.

If in doubt, do it.
