Even the Rages have that shape, cuz of the static bridles.

We will have some kites this week and Ollie is scheduled to get kites the following week. Keep us informed on the weather and maybe some of us will come down for a demo this coming weekend.

Can someone please explain to me the Dynamic Structural Influence, and it's benefits. I know it prevents distortion along the trailing edge, but what are the benefits? Also what are the benefits of doing with out a center strut. I saw all the pics with 5 struts, now the rap is 6 struts. Why did you guys go with that design. Is the kite a better jumper? Will it invert? Looking for some info here..........

Dewey,

1. The benefit of the DSI system is that it preserves the TE shape to match the LE. With that said; the kite becomes more efficient, i.e.Öupwind, retaining power, and all around performance.

2. The six-strut configuration (2 center struts) helps in the wider project shape, helps spread out the TE, yet retain a tight leech.

3. A better glider.

4. We have taken precaution as to inversion.

Hope this helps,
JB

Well I don't even think I'll try any other kites. I'll take a quiver for Christmas. I'm still going to keep the Outrages, just in case I need a ass woopin.
