2014/15 Storm kiting

Post by NorCalNomad » Sat Nov 22, 2014 11:51 pm

So I was stuck at work watching some people enjoy some of the wind at Crissy. Anyone get out to 3rd to catch, what looked like from the sensor, the good wind?

Looks like the next storm rolling through next weekend could bring some more good wind!

Crissy Field Is a terrible launch for unreliable storm winds that fade instantly!!

See your guys there at Alameda this coming weekend. Be aware that Sunday & Monday are not for beginners due to extreme high wind. Even with a smallish kite , +40 mph wind can still kill you.

Plus it will be rainy... *bg&
I wont make it Sunday but most likely Saturday and Monday if that storm holds.
Let's not get our panties in a twist just yet, it's 5 days ahead, storms misbehave a lot more than thermal winds...
