Drop off your OLD Kites/Sails - Eco Event Sunday 10/26 COYOTE San Mateo 11am
We are pleased to host this GREEN ECO EVENT for help prevent your old sails/kites from ending up in the land fill!
WHAT: ECO donation of old windsurf sails, kites, control bars/lines
WHERE: Boardsports San Mateo - Coyote Pt Park
WHEN: Sunday 10/26, 11am - 1:30pm (drop off sails/kites during this time only)
WHAT: old windsurf sails, old kites, old control bars
Jeff Wapner from Blue and Green will be in town to take the donated items and repurpose them back in Santa Barbara.
Blue And Green is a new eco-friendly company whose goal is to reduce landfill waste by up-cycling materials from sports that we are passionate about (sailing, surfing, kiting and windsurfing). We take old sails and kites and repurpose the materials into beautiful functional products. The concept is to take things from the sea, rework them and then bring them back to the sea in the form of board bags, rack pads and other products.
Please help us (and the environment) by donating your old sails, kites and control lines. We really appreciate your help!

What does Blue and Green do with the proceeds? Is all or some donated to charity? If so, which one(s) and how much? If not, do they employ the disadvantaged, etc.?
