Im more afraid standing in the third ave launch on a good-wind weekend day. Just not looking up for more then 10 seconds and something will hit you.

This is also good to show them, considering that it's June.

Oct - January are my favorite months to kite the coast... I still am not eating toast.

I've always had a near-hatred for toast, good sourdough being the exception, and more than a handful of friends have been almost offended at my displeasure. Now I have statistical data to back up my opinions.

Not to put a damper on things, but this is not a fair comparison. How many people make toast vs how many people spend a lot of time in the water near big sharks. I'll guess a billion people make toast and 100,000 play in deep sharky water. So the odds are 800/1000000000 - 8.0e-07 vs 4/100000 - 4e-05. Still small odds but you should continue to feel safe eating toast.

The landlord usually lets their victims live, like getting burned by the toaster.

Its SHARKY... if you are scared maybe you should stay in Alameda. `~`

i read somewhere that they basically take a first bite, then patiently wait for victim to die before they start eating it. Humans usually are rescued by their friends right after the first bite and before they die, and thus dont usually become a meal.

also, the first bite is more of a "is this a seal?" and once they realize it's not, they move on.

What about toast with Nutella? Seems like a good risk to me.
