This weekend - Kirkwood/South Lake

Post by buckidge » Thu Jan 19, 2012 9:44 pm

I'm looking at the Kirkwood NOAA forecast (http://1.usa.gov/wevXbc) and it looks like Saturday might be perfect for big snow and big wind. Maybe Caples Lake will be the spot!
So, I think I'm packing for the kites this weekend. :)

However... I've never kited in Tahoe (snow kited in Madison, WI) and don't really know how to find out where is going off and where to find fellow kiters. SO is anyone else here thinking like me about finding wind this weekend with the snow? If so, hit me up.

If not, but you have some good advice... post away! So far, I'm just working off what I see on Royce's site (http://bit.ly/AkbEBP - Thanks!) and a bit on these forums.

Was up there last Thursday and there was no snow.

Bring your boat to caples. It probably ain't frozen.
