Here is my review after a few sessions on this board.

The LF weighs approximately 1 million pounds.

Which isn't really a big deal. Again this is just the LF venture fish with strap inserts, so if you want to save some money and don't plan to use straps on this board (you should not use straps on this board) just get the venture fish. You can find them online for considerably less than $300.

I only ride surfboards, so that my change my perception. This is more like a big skimboard than a surfboard and is super fun in light wind. It's great for practicing shuv-its and duck tacks and strapless airs. It's like riding on a small dining room table it's so stable. It's pretty fun in windswell too.

That said I would HATE to ride this in anything approaching a wave. It has no rocker and is way too wide. It would ride waves like a skimboard, which is not my cup of tea. It wants to pearl even in windswell and you can't slow it down like a surfboard to stay on the wave.

I look at this as a replacement for a lightwind board or as another toy for strapless fun. It's not a surfboard replacement. For less than $300 it's a great extra toy.

Hey all,

I've got one (a Liquid Force 5'3" Fish) for sale in the Bay Area. Used it for about 45 minutes at Sherman yesterday. Not my thing. but it's spankin' brand new. The one for kiting (with foot strap inserts) lists for $349.

$300. No tax. No shipping.

PM me or 510-601-5475
