passing the liability buck to a non-entity.....good move....I was hanging with the crew for the last week.....they kinda have to tolerate me, as two of em are my kids....they got me back good, tho, by convincing me to strap on Alex's bindings and go off that thing a couple times....couldn't let Ella have all the fun......

That thing is a blast....sure, my neck is still sore from choosing to land upside down head first on one of my landings.....but no worse than one of my messed up s bend attempts....Sure am impressed by the pounding the crew was taking, and they kept coming back for more. Greg did a heck of a good job on the construction. We just have to make sure we move it down a bit if there are super high tides, as the wheels are hard to move if stuck in the sand...

The crew built a slider to go with it over the weekend, but need a boat to get it to the island....anyone interested?

No, just giving the ramp to those people that actually use it. It's a gift!
Greg Boyington
BTW: I understand the SSC is doing a good job taking care of it, putting it away, etc..
So- I told the members that I was giving it to them and that I would come help them maintain it. They seemed STOKED!

Brian's choice....it is funny - I received an email back from youtube, saying UMG has ownership of most of the soundtrack, but they let the vid post anyway.....I guess they are nice as long as you are not making any cash...

Yuri helped me make the ramp, he did ALL the welding, he also donated a majority of the materials (plastic and steel) and then he made me a hell of a deal on labor costs to boot. I have invested less then $1000.00 cash plus about another $1500-2000 in free labor (mine). The set-up and tranzport-costs were running between $50 and $100 CASH per usage. Now that the ramp is close to where it will be stored it should be very cheap to maintain.
For future object cost estimates: Yuri said if he had built the ramp for business purposes he estimated its value to be something in the ballpark of $7000.

But thats business and this is about FUN!!!, so- the ramp was always MINE, the concept was ALL mine (on paper for about two years). One day, Yuri said "lets just build it", the rest is NOW histroy...

Enjoy,
L.M.G.
