Bay, yes, the cam mount should fit on any center strut. I put my digital camera in movie mode, inside a water proof case that is tied to the pump loop just in case. I have a styrofoam cutout that is formed to the center strut, all duct taped on. Works great. Now for the custom neoprene universal mount...

is there a swivel on the camera mount to keep it some what level? how was that achieved?
