It's public. I've only gone down a few miles to Accica and Buena Vista. It keeps going.

I think the road is called duhig rd. I thought that the property out there was part of skaggs island naval base. I dont know though. I also heard that the land was ear marked to be turned in to a wildlife sanctuary.

The whole area is owned by Fish & Wildlife now, but is open to the public with restrictions.
