Trying to put together small get together for Curt Gabriel. It is his b-day this weekend. Maybe we can clean some logs out on his behalf. Small price to pay for what the log did to him. I am sure Curt would love to see everyone.

I would love to contribute time and horsepower (tractor) to the effort, but me and my tractors are going to be working that day. Plus, two of them are in the shop.

Wow Ed, short notice! We've been hoping to get an SI cleanup going very soon with multiple chainsaws and everything, but a days notice is a bit tight. My weekends booked. How about a belated one next weekend?

Next week would work for me, too. I'm currently planning on bringing the tractor down to help the folks at the Sign mow their parking area, so it will be around if needed.

The cleanup is done. Thanks to all who helped, especially Brian, Johnny12, Steve, Carl (great idea about bringing the poles), and last, but certainly not least, Indian Bob for cutting up all the logs into manageable pieces in the first place.

So it looks like Sherman was off the hook today. How was it?

Today was the official end of ski season, at least for me. The snow sucked today even BEFORE it started raining.

It's supposed to be 83 degrees by Friday. Get ready for thermal wind.

It was good to finally get out there and not get skunked. Now if I could only remember how to jump on my C kites.

Damn! I wanted to do my part as I frequent SI in the summer. You know give back for the karma and the overall improving of our beach.

I have a question for everyone on the SI clean up thing. I have a good friend who works for a carpet store here in Sac. I'm thinking I could get a ton of carpet to cover the lauch/land area. Is this something that would be good or bad? Should i follow through? Seeking your opinions on this everyone.

The launch looks good. The wind was good. First really good session of the season. Starting to like the HiR's
