Boardsports no longer selling kites!

Post by pipedragon » Wed Apr 19, 2006 1:54 pm

Who will I go to for Naish gear now?

I went to Boardsports in Berkeley on my lunch break today to look at the new Naish Ailens and kite wave and they informed me that Boardsports will no longer sell kites. So who gets the NAISH deal in the Bay Area now? Or do we just order direct?

I was told the new owners do not kite and do not want to deal with kites. I guess that is good news for kitewindsurf!

The problem with boardsports is they were always over priced and unwilling to negotiate prices. I occasionaly got a good deal on sale items but I could always beat their prices on-line.

Guys,
I would like to officially let you know that we are the new Bay Area retailer of all Naish kiteboarding gear.
Shockwave, Raven, Torch, Sol boards etc etc.
Our demos and stock is arriving this weekend!

Cheers,
Evan

Hummm I wonder what will happen to our boardsports here in Toronto? Same problem as yours though.... so overpriced! Kites from other dealers are always around 25-35% cheaper!

I'ts a choice...
If the kites are overpriced 25-35%, that wont sell for long....
Cheap kites without longevity or service suck too...
Supporting the local shop has MANY perks if the shop is doing business right!
On-line business can be as good as the shopkeeper setup but finding the best DEAL AT ANY COST will diffenitly cause you some problems that you didnt expect...
