Carpool / share Uber from SF to Alameda on weekends?

Hi there,

Fairly new beginner here. I live in SF and I've been trying to frequent Alameda on the weekends to improve my skills. I usually call an Uber to carry my gear + board. But this can get costly.

I was wondering if anyone here drives from SF to Alameda often on the weekends, and are willing to share a ride. I'm willing to compensate with money and/or beer.

If anyone doesn't have a car, but is interested in splitting an Uber, we can arrange that as well.

Does anyone have any recommendations on best form of transportation from SF to Alameda?

Late reply - but I stayed in Alameda recently, and was surprised to find out how good the bus service was out there. Can't remember which AC Transit line it was, but my gf actually had a quicker SF commute by bus than by BART.

Might want to check out "gig car rental". kind of like a zipcar but you can leave it anywhere.
