Also i suggest one another way, register your lost item on online lost and found platform like missingx, lostandfound, etc. It's helpful for people get back their lost items.

It was found, I had it at the Wind Over Water shed for awhile but I gave it back to the person who found it just the other day....come see me next time your at 3rd and I will re-unite you with your leash! ( or ask around for Phil, he found it) -Tony
