Been a while.
Not personally ridden one, but have spoken to a few SC guys that ride them and they rave about them, I understand the V1 has something of a cult following in San Deigo/Santa Cruz ... from what I can gather there used to be a very long and complementary thread about these boards on StandUpZone that was deleted because the site owner didn't want to be giving coverage to a company that didn't advertize ... or some bullshit like that. But the reviews have been encouraging.
They are available at CoveWater Paddle to be demo'd ... or used to be, so you can likely demo one there.
I am a believer in this board shape, I plan on getting a V1 sometime next year ...
The other MiniSimmons shape like this that gets a lot of good press is the Phoenix from Infinity:

not heard that much about it, but worth looking into.
