Which Booties for Beginners

I'm a beginner at wing foiling, not kiting. As a beginner and spend time walking in the mud, and I'm looking for a booty recommendation. The water temperature isn't a huge issue for me but i'm looking for foot protection, something that won't make it harder to learn to stand on the board, as well as something that won't get ripped off by the mud when i sink into it.
I had some cheap 'water socks' I was using, but my first time out, I had to walk out of the lower beach at 3rd ave and my feet sank about a foot into the mud. So I'm thinking something with an ankle zipper would be best.
