Alameda 2017 buddy system group

Hi fellow beginner kiters! Let's organize a buddy system group. Please reply on this thread or PM me if you are interested. Idea is to coordinate, set up meeting times at Alameda, meet each other and go out kiting two at a time, so we can help each other. I am currently learning to edge, so I can stay upwind.

The forecast for Alameda this weekend is very light, so I am going to check out Bodega Bay with John this Saturday. PM me if anyone wants to join.
Our group already has four potential members. I think we can exchange our phone numbers and coordinate our next session at Alameda (when there will be wind hopefully). We can post numbers here, or PM each other. My cell: 408-910-8117.

Hi Everyone,
Having a buddy group is a great idea. I've been kiting for a couple of years in the Baltic and North Sea of Germany, but I am new to the Bay Area. So it would be great to initiate a group of people who are interested in discovering the kite spots in the bay area together, car pooling and watching out for each other when on the water.
