I have an Oceanus retractable leash for the last 2 years and never had any incident with it including doing small jumps. At no point during the time either cruising, mow the lawn, crashes from jumps ... I really noticed that wearing the oceanus leash put me in any kind of harm way. But again, that 's just me.
