Hey everyone, as Aloha points out I hope you are eager for the final decent into the shortest day of the year! While we await our warm summer winds, I wanted to share an awesome new off-season travel option. The crew at Exotikite Los Barriles is now offering 6 weeks of wave kiting on the other side of the Baja Peninsula. Wave camps are amazing, such an awesome way to learn how to properly surf waves and progress. We are so fortunate to have Waddell and OB in the back yard, but the challenging conditions can delay important skills like learning to jibe and ride strapless. Having done a wave camp I can attest to the power of devoting a solid week to riding a directional in the ocean, not to mention the advice of true experts. Check out the details and dates for the upcoming camps, and reserve your spot today! http://www.exotikite.com/baja-wave-camps/

Looks awesome! Why do you fly into Loreto instead of Cabo San Lucas... isn't it closer?

I believe the camp is more mid-penninsula, and that Loreto is much closer. Megan and Ian have been running this camp for years, so I'm sure they are making the most efficient route. I'm sure they'd be happy to give you more details if you email them.
