Hey,

I´m planning a trip to the Canyons and will make a stop at Lake Powell (utah).
Kitesurfing seems to be possible however not really "developed".
Anybody been there or even kited there. Knows anything about conditions, spots, etc?

I just trying to figure out if its worth it to bring all the gear down there and make plans/hope for an afternoon on the water????

Hang Loose!

I try to kite there this time of year every year. Only real time to kite board is the monsoon storms that run July-September and are really unpredictable. You may be able to get a couple sessions on a light wind kite in the afternoon at the open channel if you get lucky (unless an early storm comes in)

No Wind at all last week when we were there...
But plenty to see/do anyway - we had a great time!

Thx again!
