Pro Fire Dancer Photo Shoot
I did an impromptu shoot on a few minutes notice with some of the best fire dancers in the US who flew to CA for a competition the night before.
The guy in the GIF above is apparently the Ruben Lenten of fire poi spinning
We shot a few photos at dusk in Golden gate park here in San Francisco

Erin,

Nice shots. I really like the last one a lot in terms of its symmetry, and the group shots because they seem to give the viewer a really good idea of what this group of individuals is like.

Last year at Baja Burning Bush I shot some pictures of an amazing performer named Mirshan (sp?). I don't know how he compares to your Ruben Lenten caliber performer, but he totally blew me away. You can see some of my shots of him in the following links...
