Looks like its still a drift launch situation...not much room to set up lines, etc.

I have to dis agree with drift launching there considering it's in a busy shipping channel. I see more ship traffic there than I ever see going past Sherman. Advanced kiters with a buddy is totally doable. If anyone wants help launching or is interested in boat assisted downwind runs from there, you can keep your vehicle in a gated parking lot and I can pick you up at the boat launch at Sherman. Funny that you just posted those pics. I went and checked that place out on Sunday weekend before last and came away thinking, what is the point?

Sketchy for several reasons.

During an ebb with true west winds the swell (from the power plant to middle ground upwind) is the best in the delta.
