Anyone been snow kiting at Tahoe yet?

How are the conditions at Rose Meadows, Martis so far this year? What about Sierra snowkite center at Royal Gorge?

My buddy was at Tahoe Meadows on Saturday and said it was really good conditions (wind and snow).
Martis is looking decent now, but I'm not sure about the parking situation. I've heard the parking lot is now closed (not plowed) during the winter.
SSC is now open. Lake Van Norden looks great!
Carson Pass/Red Lake Peak area looks good too. Time to play!

I'm planning on going to SSC with a group in Feb. We've never been snowkiting before so I'm in search for advice.
