According to Godsey, noone really knows what's going to happen tomorrow and through the weekend, which is why the Marine forecast is conservative. But NWS Sacto is calling for North/Offshore winds starting Saturday.

Godsey thinks it's going to blow at Sherman tomorrow, and Sacto is calling for continued Delta breeze until Friday night sometime. Rest of the weekend is not looking good...

Rich,
Didn't you learn your lesson yet? That marine forecast is never right more than 24 hours out.

The bigger picture does not match up with your forecast, although I hope it's wrong. Pressure diff is going to go backwards sometime tonight and that is going to shut Sherman down. "Models are in agreement...In addition to the warming trend...pressure rises over the Pacific
northwest/Great Basin in the wake of the upper low tonite/early Sat
morning will result in offshore flow and a period of adiabatically
drying Ely or downslope winds during this time."

It's blowing today, so Get it while the gettings good!

Friday night party at SI... Seems like things will clear up again for Sunday, too.

Well we will wait and see

Won't we

I've been at Sherman for so many years that I have seen it all

North at the Pump Houst and 30 at the access...

One never knows...

I'd rather be wrong and kiting than right and posting.

Dead at 1:30.

Was lightly powered on the 13m all morning. Steady wind not too many kites. You guys made the right call to stay home.
