Wind heads up

At the rist of sounding like a broken record, it appears that Wed/Thurs/Fri is setting up well for coastal winds. Nice swell shaping up as well.

Get some.

Your forecasts are like a favorite 78 record -
Worth listening to over and over again.
(Notice I did not modernize you to a 33)
No one has the Bay Weather dialed the way you do.
You nailed the delta call this weekend!
Please keep your view of the wind world coming while you knock out those PT reps!
Good Winds!

Quick update to forecast

Post by zgur » Tue Apr 25, 2006 11:14 pm

The forecast gods are smiling on all bay area kiters. Great set up.

In addition to good coast/crissy/3rd wind during the week, I bet the east bay will also be good on wed/thurs, the weekend looks to bring a 'summer' like fog bank, which will penetrate into the inland valleys at night, with a good retreat to the gate by afternoon. Love that fog. If we have good penetration, the delta is going.

If the fogbank penetration does not deliver the goods, there is a chance that the wind in the valley will go a bit north....but all west locations (crissy, 3rd) will be jammin'. Right now, I would say that the delta will happen.

The for sure: Good wind for the downwinder!!! and if you care to support OPEC a bit more, drive west and play in the 3d water.

Should be many =D> on all kiter faces.

Z Grateful 1.

"A further warming of the airmass is expected on Thursday
that combined with a light northerly surface gradient will bring
more warming. Maximum temperatures Thursday are likely to push 90
degrees in the northern Sacramento Valley where adiabatic heating
could boost temperatures a few extra degrees. Friday could see the
warmest temperatures of the week as the upper level ridge axis
centers over the north state and the last of the northerly surface
gradient drops off. "

Today already looks pretty good at Sherman, though. Hmmmmm.
