What's App You Use?

I'm looking at all the kitesurfing apps available on the iOS app store and wonder which ones I should get. So far iKitesurf looks good.
Anyone have the little blue wind meter so you can share your wind measurements - do you get to see others' reading if you buy the meter? it says it's sharable.
What about using a team chat app like What's App, Line or Kik - anyone have a group or want to start a group?

Re: What's App You Use?
iKitesurf is perhaps the only one you need.
Kiters are generally active folk and don't spend too much time on their phones unless its to check the forecast. After that we stash our phone in a secure place while we go pump up and hit the water. No time to be nose deep in our phones.
And the anemeter you're talking about you don't really need. Seasoned windsport enthusiasts can tell the wind speed just by feeling and looking.
A good huge loogie into the wind will also help you determine the wind conditions.

Yea no one seems to be using the free app Kitesurf Alert. There's only 2 reports world wide today and it shows someone kiting in the middle of the Pacific Ocean were there's no islands.

I like the Wind Alert app because you can tap anywhere on the map and quickly see the forcast for any spot.
Question: If you subscribe for iKiteSurf do you also have access to Wind Alert subscribtion and if I subscribe on my company phone so I can use it for work can I also log on with my personal phone to use when I'm not at work?

Yes. The login is the same for all of them. I signed up for iKitesurf but only ever use the Windalert app. I just wish you could get to the human forecast for an area from a spot rather than having to go back to the main menu.

No I'm just wondering if there's like free family sharing like AT&T.

Well, considering most of us play by the rules and pay good money for the access/subscriptions, I'm not about to go and explain to you how to take advantage of it.
Experiment, try it out for yourself? Etc

What information could you use from Tide Graph app if it shows you tide and current predictions. Someone told me low tide is best because the water is warmer and that's when it's most windy. Is it best to search out the upwind current locations?
