I'm now an active member. J.A.W.

Maybe this will get me some karma points from the wind gods and push me upwind.

I haven't been on the forum for a while but the Toilet Bowl catch my attention. No body wants anyone on their property. That's a given. I am of the school that you just have to push you way into the spot. The Toilet Bowl is now tidal waters, period! I don't care is San Jose owns it. If they want people not to use the waterways inside of that triangle, then they need to fix their levee! Otherwise they forfeit their right. They have Don Edwards workers monitory their spot because they can't do it themselves (how convenient). If a kiter were to be ticketed for kiting the bowl, what would the ticket say? I do not believe there is a clear violation of a law or code. This is the question that needs to be asked. As for kiting the Bay side, again that is bogus. I used to kite that place all the time when I worked at Sun Microsystems (now Facebook campus). I could launch on the bay side of the road/trail if I had to. California Constitution Article 10 section 4 baby!
