what kitesize for July ?

Hello !

i'm coming to the states in July , roadtrip from San fransisco to los angeles .

I can only bring 1 kite !

what size is the best size ?

I have a 9m vegas and a 12 m vegas .

my weight ; 70 kg
board : twintip 128

The wind will get significantly weaker as you move south but in the SF Bay Area a 9m should be ideal if you're not too big of a guy. I don't own anything bigger than a 9m and fly Vegas' as well.

yeah. bring your 9m. should be fine. you should get a good number of windy days up here....but down in so-cal you're gonna want that 12.

i've reserved an extra place for my boardbag ! So I will bring both !

what do I need from wetsuit ? shorty ? normal wetsuit ?


and are there also kiteboarders in santa barbara , santa cruz , los angeles ? :wink:

Sherman or inland rivers 2 to 3 mm should suffice. Bring your shortie.
Coast - 4 mm full wetsuit, be on the safe side in case you break down and have a long swim.

what are the best spots ? for wich wind directions ?
