I'm all for swap meets, keeps the gear flowing, but I do worry about the unsafe kites that might change hands ... especially if they end up with someone that doesn't know what's what. Maybe we should set up a "free gear advise crew" during the event? Sounds easier to me then dealing with the aftermath on the beach ... thought?

If you get one buyer there that actually know nothing about kiting I would be amazed. In the last 10 swap meets I have shown up at you are lucky if there are any buyers at all, let alone one that is new to the sport :)
