San Lorenzo Valley kiting?

My wife and i have been living overseas for the past six years and are looking at re-locating, i am a canuck but her cali roots are pulling hard, here's my question:
How long is it from San Lorenzo Valley to waddell? Are there other kiting spots within a short(ish) drive from SL?
Can anyone give me a marker on google earth that i can use to find the Waddell launch? I was there twice this summer but can't seem to find it using google.
