I kited a sweet spot in Napa the other day. I am moving away from the area, but would like to share the spot with some other people so it doesn't go to waste. Hopefully we can get another good day out there since it is near the end of the season. If ridiculously flat water, good wind, great launch, and 50 foot walk from your car is your thing hit me up with a PM.

Let's not keep this hush-hush. Give us some more info.

Hushhush is fine. If you're a member you can PM him and get the info. No need to tell the whole world if he doesn't want to.
PM program is currently not working, though.

PM's work, I got one last night and just sent one to myself and it seems to work fine...unless you send a PM to a user with an invalid email address, then you will get an error.

do a google earth search of the area, if it doesnt show a large lake etc.. then its bull...
sounds pretty fishy to me, besides I've done some inland kiting- gusty/ holey/ fickel... plan on drinking plunty of wine.

The entire area between Napa and the Bay is wetlands, flat and much of it covered with water for some part of the day. The wind comes in off the bay and rips through there. It's not really "inland kiting".
There are tons of old salt ponds out there, and other people have posted about kiting them, but the issue is always access (how long a walk from your car, basically).
