Alameda Waist High Tide

Anyone know what the tide range is for waist deep water at Crown Beach. thanks for any info

I don't have as much experience as most people here with Alameda, but since no one has replied yet...Also, I'd be interested to know why you are asking cause it's kinda tough to get just waist deep, it's generally getting a lot deeper or a lot shallower since it's not stable at waist deep (doesn't peak at waist or ebb to waist).
I'd say it's about tidal level 4-5'+, but someone else should really confirm this. If you are planning on standing around out there without propulsion, bring swim fins+jacket, it gets deep fast and you can end up in a deep spot without planning on it either swimming or floating the current.
Straight out from the shack is consistently shallow way out (200-300 yards), south of the two buoys the depth can be irregular. I swear I was way out near the south point the other day and rode over a super shallow sand bar, while about the same time you could have overhead water somewhere else.
If you are looking for deep water, go way outside from the shack near the old radar wood.
