Heads up to anyone who cares:
Long term forecast is for a series of storm systems to hit NorCal starting Weds. night/Thurs. with the biggest looking good for the weekend. No word yet on details, but probably the best chance of wind we're going to get.
I'll be gone but I'm sure you guys will let me know what I missed.
Bad news is that after a week of storms, pattern goes right back to endless high pressure.

The optimist in me recalls that sometimes the Delta (in season) blows like a mother after really dry winters. Stay tuned! We might be in for a real nice run. It's also been a while since we had a lot of nuking spring winds at the coast. Maybe, just maybe...

Yes sirree! I remember and that's why I'm so darn enthused. (Yes, there's very little snow, but the mountain biking has been stellar. If I lived above 5000 feet I'd feel differently I'm sure.) Here's a toast to sick days at the coast this spring followed by real wind at the river all summer. Yeee-haw, I could use a good yank and spank.
Charlie, wanna' ride bikes today with us? Maybe Joaquin Miller or Redwood?
