Folsom this Thurs... Brrrrrrrrrrr

Post by Proparoo » Thu Dec 28, 2006 8:29 am

OK, who's up for a butt cold day at the lake?

Calling for 2o to 30 mph with a high of 56....
I hope it warms up a bit as it is 39 and the wind is 20 (can you say wind chill)

Here is a link to Dyke 8 http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/mesowest/getobe ... banner=off

Looks like it has been blowing strong all night.. hope it picks up as it warms up.

I think I will waittill it warms up to at least 45
I also think it will be a windsurfing kind of day as my small kite is an 11m

Hope to see all my friends out at Dyke 8
I will be the guy freezing my ass off... but with a big smile on my face.

I do have to tell the truth, knowing that this kind of stuff makes for good human interest, I called News 10 to see if they wanted to cover this....

Anything for self promotion....

This Friday is looking like a repeat of Rich and Jeff's great day last week. It may be a little warmer, too! :)
