Hey, I picked up a helmet that was lying on the Crown Park beach after everybody left for the day. Call me at 510-597-0193 if it was yours.

It's not my helmet but that was a sweet session! Freezing cold water is such a different feeling. Thank goodness for booties and gloves. I can't wait for sunny Costa Rica in less than 2 weeks. Sweet!!!!

Bobby, it was rediculously cold that day. I had two wetsuits, pants and a jacket. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that my jacket would fill up with water when submerged. As usual, I spent a disporportionate amount of my time bodydragging...mostly due to failed back roll attempts. When I tried to get back up on my board, I was weighted down by about 50 pounds of water. I too am looking forward to warmer waters. La Ventana, here I come baby!

I WAS thinking about adding a weight belt instead of constantly changing kite sizes. I figure with a 20-30 pound scuba diving weight belt, I could increase my wind range on any given kite by 10 knots. Maybe, like Yuri, I could start my own business. He can make light wind boards and I can make weight belts! As demonstrated by the cost of new kiteboards, which runs around $600, people are willing to pay a rediculous amount of money for this stuff anyway. I should be able to just remarket scuba equipment for a huge mark-up.
If anybody takes my business idea I'm going to be pissed.
