I spoke to Mr. Powers last night as he returned from kiting, he was bubbling over from his southern venture. Said the surf was head high and wind solid.
Enjoy,

I got OB with at least a dozen others for about an hour. Good times!

Yup, it was really good at Waddell on Saturday-- not even very cold.

Thanks to Jeff for several hours on the new Torch 3. It offers an excellent blend of low-end, windward ability, hang-time and quickness in the waves. It sets up perfectly right out of the box. The bar-feel is great with excellent feedback. It has a killer "low-gear" for grinding upwind when moderately powered (versus really juiced) that is ideal for down-the-line riding since it easily returns you to the top of the slot in one reach. Very, very nice. Easy to ride and easy on the body. (Not too shabby about 20 feet up either!) You can probably guess, I liked it!

I'm relieved to ride a new kite for '07 that actually ups the ante! This, for me, was the final confirmation that I'm a C-type kinda' guy!

=P~

May I have another?
