Cabrinha to launch new surf/tow line & other news from P

Post by marina cc » Fri Aug 11, 2006 11:38 am

Due to tech issues, the live podcast from ASnews.net did not happen last night, however, we did the interview in our normal prerecorded format, using many of the questions posted by forum users.

The podcast has now been uploaded to www.thekiteboarder.com and www.asnews.net. Toby also houses the podcasts at kiteforum.tv.

During the interview, Pete released that Cabrinha will soon be launching a new line of surfboards/tow products. The 2004 Billabong XXL champion also talked about what he uses in the surf, questions on the Xbow2 and Contra, and how the new Switchblade2 supports Cabrinha's positioning of why it is not developing any more C-kites. There's lot of other great stuff in the interview so listen and enjoy!

Was at Neilpryde Maui over the weekend, saw the new line!!!!
Not that it really matters too much around here!
- The surfboard looks swweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! Its like 40 lbs, theyve put beebees in the board to make it more stable
- The tow raft is pretty sweet too, i think theyre selling them for around $1k, (which is apparently undercutting the competition.)
... now if i can just get my butt back to Maui for the December swells 8)

Moose - dude, surely you are kidding about the statement "...Not that it really matters too much around here..." c'mon, you were just fishing right??

Cause it goes off like a mother here, with more punch then that warm water surf......and no, we don't need any stuff from NP maui here, we got it all covered....;-)

Get some, Z.
