I don't know about any one else but one thing I still can't get used to in this sport is that, everytime a launch and especially when I come in at Sherman, I feel I want to kiss the ground and talk to God letting him know just how thankful I am to be safe and alive.
Every time I hang out at Kite Beach, and mainly on weekends, I see some incredable things going on...
Even with the top riders, I see some guys come screaming in to shore, trip over their boards and WHAP!!! Down Kite....
I have never felt this way with windsurfing even after 20 years...
I guess this feeling will pass (to some extent) but I am confident we should all never take the safety thing for granted.
Do you ever want to kiss the ground you walk on?
